Congratulations Abigail and Kathy!

Just wanted to say Congratulations to my wife’s cousin Abigail and her partner Kathy. They had their commitment ceremony in Iowa today. They’ve been together for years, but they wanted to have a ceremony and party to proclaim their love for each other. It’s more of a fun thing anyway, as they had already flown to San Francisco and gotten married during that stint of time that the government there was allowing it.

Here’s wishing them health, happiness and a long life together. Here’s also hoping that things like this become more commonplace and easier for everyone involved. Anyone who is in a committed loving relationship should be encouraged to stay together and have all the rights ever other couple has! I’m proud of you for standing up for what you believe in Abigail. Congratulations!
