Part 1 of my latest article for Intranet Journal is up now! It details adding the open-source web discussion template, domBulletin to your intranet. I’ll finish up with Part 2 on Wednesday!

Will have to get to that article later. But I’ve tried to get domBulletin going for my company. Right now two workgroups are using it (including mine), but our HR department hasn’t given a go-ahead to turn it up. Initially, they held back because of the lack of moderation with the posts. After some other discussion at the domBulletin section of OpenNTF, I was able to easily enable this funcionality by the use of readers fields. I believe I documented my changes at the domBulletion discussion section on OpenNTF – really straightforward.
domBulletin is GREAT!!

Yup, it’s really a great example of what can be done in Domino. My article, even though it’s a two parter, didn’t get incredibly in-depth. It was a more of a “get-it-up-and-running” piece to help people try it out. Hopefully if they are looking for more advanced stuff, they’ll see it on the project page at OpenNTF.
