Microsoft Exchange Hosted Filtering
Well I’ve always been a big fan of Frontbridge as an outsourced anti-spam/anti-virus service, but when they were bought by Microsoft, I got really worried. I learned a few days ago that they were changing their name to Microsoft Exchange Hosted Filtering. This had me wondering if my days on the service were numbered. But, according to the article, Notes and Domino will still be supported for at least the filtering part (which is what we use.)
Now I think it’s just really funny that my filtering is now called Microsoft Exchange Hosted Filtering, I feel dirty 🙂

An analogy to the Nazis and Poland in WWII comes to mind… Don’t say I didn’t warn ya!

I know… But it seems that only the archiving and encryption pieces are not available for Domino. Standard SMTP spam/virus filtering is going to be allowed on Domino. I was told this by a C-level contact at Frontbridge who I trust not to screw me… Now if they sack HIM, then I’ll start to get worried
