Not part of the cultural zeitgeist

Today I had to go into work late so I could stay and do some server upgrades, so I decided that I would try to snag an XBox 360. Well, I unfortunately came up empty-handed.

I hit these stores:

• Target
• Best Buy
• Wal-mart
• Circuit City
• Toys R Us
• Meijer
• GameStop

Everywhere was sold out, so unfortunately I will have to wait to join the “IN” crowd. I’m mainly wanting this for it’s multi-media capabilities. I want to connect to a networked PC and stream pictures in Hi-Def and music from subscription services like Yahoo Music Unlimted. Gaming is secondary… although I can’t wait to play Madden.

So were any of you geeky readers able to snag one?
