Welcome to the “No more unbelievably stupid shit will happen here!” era of the Dolphins, my friend.
The purist football fan in me is REALLY looking forward to the AFC East next year (yeah, I really don’t believe the ‘fins were as bad as their record, they just imploded and Good Ole Dave just let ’em – like the year the Jets were 1-15, then Parcells shows up the next year and they’re in the playoffs – they weren’t as bad as their record that year, they just kept finding ways to beat themselves).
Yeah, I’m actually looking forward to a fresh start too. We’ll see how free agency and the draft treat us. Would be really nice to get Edge, but now that he’s been franchised, it would be expensive.
