The Day After Tomorrow
Last night Jen and I went and saw the movie “The Day After Tomorrow.” Despite Mike slamming it at every opportunity (despite not having SEEN it) I really liked the movie. Granted, the plot was a little thin, and the anti-Bush, global-warming theme was a little too heavy handed, but the movie was a fun ride nonetheless.
For some reason, I really like disaster movies. This one had some really awesome effects, and the flooding of New York and consequent blizzard was really marvelously done. I agree a little with Tom that the wolves CGI was a little bad, but not nearly as bad as Tom made it out to be.
If you like this type of movie, or are really into special-effects, you owe it to yourself to see this on the big screen.

You’re still the first person I’ve seen who gave it a good review.

Well, what else do you expect me to do when I’m sitting around eating bon-bon’s as an unemployed bum?
