Quoted in the User Group story on Search Domino

FYI, for those of you that haven’t seen it on Chris Miller’s or Ed Brill’s blog, SearchDomino has posted a story on the health of Notes/Domino user groups. Yours truly is attributed with some statements, but not directly quoted. I guess my prose wasn’t quotable enough 🙂

It is strange though, I told the writer how strong we were, and how we are one of the few user groups that actually CHARGE vendors to speak. We also charge a membership fee for members which many user groups have done away with. I figured THAT is something unusual that would have been worthy for the story, but I guess not… hehe. Also, to anyone that is wondering, yesterday was NOT an April Fool’s joke. I really DID get laid off unfortunately.
