The bassist for the Dead Milkmen comitted suicide…

David Blood, the bassist for the old punk band Dead Milkmen committed suicide yesterday. The details are here. Now I pretty much think that anyone that commits suicide is a coward. They can’t figure out how to deal with the life they’ve been given, so they take the easy way out. This situation is a little different though. Dave stopped playing bass after having severe tendonitis. So, when you lose the ability to do the only thing you’ve ever known, I guess that can take it’s toll. I still don’t approve of what he did, but I do feel sorry for him. Everyone crank a copy of Bitchin’ Camaro tonight and think of Dave.
