Photoshop Album 2.0 released

Adobe released Photoshop Album 2.0 today. Photoshop Album is software to allow you to sort and track all of your digital pictures. It also allows you to do minor alterations and touch-ups to your photos. It’s very basic however, so if you really want more in-depth touch-up software, I’d go for Photoshop Elements 2.0 or the upcoming Photoshop CS

Anyway, some of the cool new features that Album has include the ability to send your photos to your Tivo Series 2.0 DVR (if you have Home Media Option that is), the ability to save slideshows in PDF format, or even send photos to your Palm or mobile phone. It’s also VERY easy to use, and they also are releasing a FREE version that’s stripped down.

Adobe is definitely wanting to take this market by storm, and they are doing all the right things to get there.

As an addendum to a prior blog posting, I did buy my Canon EOS 300D Digital SLR camera.   Loving it so far…  I’ll post a review in a couple of weeks.
