Thing number three, COME ON DOWN!!!

Yes, bad things come in threes. We had my wife’s near accident (with my kids and mother-in-law) and then we had Alex’s ski accident, and now we have had a death of my in-law’s Siberian Husky, Tundra.

In the grand scheme of things, this is lower on the scale than many bad things that could happen, but losing a beloved pet really sucks. I know that when Shadow dies I’m going to be a complete wreck. Animals become like family members, and losing one that gives you companionship every day is a hard thing to deal with.

Another bad thing is that he started a seizure and died during it. I have family members with epilepsy, and I know that when anything concerning a seizure causes a death, it hits a little closer to home for them. It’s like they realize that a seizure could affect them in the same way.

So bad things, you’ve had your way with us, now go away…
